Help! Questions about baking gluten-free bread!

Happy friday everyone!! Today's the day Preds fans...Game 5 at home! We can end it tonight!! Ahhh soo exciting!!

Ok, so I have a dilemma about baking some gluten-free bread. I really want to bake some from scratch just so I can say that I've done it. I know it's expensive to buy all the different types of flours and gums in order to do this, but I want to at least try it once. And I know that I'll have some leftover from most, if not all, of the ingredients that I can use in future recipes. It would be easier and less expensive to buy a bread mix, and yes I know that is technically still baking from scratch, but right now for some reason I have a desire to make at least one loaf from total scratch.

I know a lot of you have made bread from scratch and I was wondering if you have any tips or suggestions?!? Are there places that have good deals on ingredients? I'm still pretty new to all of this, so I would definitely appreciate any advice! Thanks!!

  1. Hey babe :)

I just wanted to stop in to say that I'm sure you will do great making GF bread, with or without others input! ;) I am looking forward to us making this recipe together, and even more so trying it out fresh from the oven!

In the meantime, go preds tonight in game 5!! I'm definitely a lucky guy tonight, Katie is baking me some GF sausage and cheese balls and then we are watching the game. Good times!!
