Pancakes 4 Dinner!

Tonight, we decided to make gluten-free pancakes for dinner. We were going to make Apple Balsamic Porkchops (look for a future blog entry about this) but we realized that we didn't have chicken broth so we used some leftover Pamela's Mix to make pancakes. We followed the recipe on the bag:

-1 cup of Pamela's mix
-1 egg
-3/4 cup of water
- 1 Tbsp oil

The first batch made about 6 pancakes, but the sizes varied.

We used this AWESOME batter dispenser from Avon, meant to use for pancakes and cupcakes. So much neater than dipping a cup in a batter bowl...

Marshal decided he wanted to put some protein powder in his batch. So after mixing everything in the regular recipe, he added about 1-2 tbsp of milk and one scoop of Gaspari Nutrition IntraPro Double Chocolate Whey Protein Powder.

Final product...

His batch made about 10 pancakes.

This was the first time for me to use Pamela's Mix for pancakes, but Marshal had eaten them before. We both loved our batches. I tried his and it was very good as well...if you are in the mood for chocolate pancakes!! ;)

He made his own batch! I'm so proud!
I'm training him right! ;)

YUMMY!!! =)
